Where Questions - Places at School - Speech Therapy Task Cards + NO PREP

This resource serves as a great way to teach speech language therapy students or English language learners to answer WHERE questions with pictures and visual aids. The explicit instruction of locations, including places at school can be essential for children to be able to answer certain WHERE questions, while also providing opportunity for vocabulary development. These visual aids, task cards, sentence model strips, sorting worksheets, coloring worksheets, and reading comprehension worksheets will walk you through the instruction of beginner WHERE questions step-by-step to help students comprehend wh-questions.

Have some fun with your phonics this fall! This set is provided in both b/w & color. Prepare the color activities so you can use again and again! Students will interact with the materials to practice identification of initial, medial, and final sounds. In addition, differentiated pages are provided to work on identification of all sounds within a CVC word.
Initial Sounds: Use the apple orchard mat when working on initial sounds. 26 apple cards are included. Students will pick up the card, say the word, and identify the initial sound. All consonants and short vowels are represented:

Building letters activity for Capital Letters
In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the letter with bricks, coloring the brick letter, tracing the letter, and then writing the letter.
Building letters with blocks is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. When writing letters for this activity, students use handwriting letter boxes to help with letter size, placement, and spacing. Students don’t have to use a pencil for writing, try broken crayons (broken crayons help promote tripod grasp pattern), q-tip painting, or fingerpaint.
