Addition and Subtraction Word Problem Sort

Use this poster to help your students learn how to identify if a word problem is calling for addition or subtraction. Print the chart as a poster to use as an interactive anchor chart with the large size word, or print as an independent worksheet with the smaller words. I believe that students need to address missed questions on a test rather than just accept the grade and move on to the next topic. This test correction sheet does just that. They have to rework the problem (using their notes) and explain what they did wrong. I love this page!!
