Color By Number - Reducing Fractions

This product includes 12 problems of reducing fractions. This assignment is self checking in that students will answer the question and find their answers on the coloring page. Once they have locate their answers they will color in that section until all questions have been answered.

2 Versions Included:

  1. Standard colors (Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple, Pink)
  2. Student choice (Students can choose 5 colors to use, this allows for individuality and creativity regarding their color choices)

Differentiation:

  • This product includes built in differentiation, every class/student is at a different level and to help with that I have included 3 different options for each version:
  1. All questions include a grid to help your students align the decimal.
  2. Half of the questions include grid to help students align the decimals and then try on their own.
  3. Questions only, no grid.

QR Codes:

  • Each of my color by numbers worksheets include a QR code which will take students to a set of notes to help remind them of the rules as they are working.

1) Where is my next class?

⟫ Help 6 students get to their next class by graphing the linear equations underneath them. Each equation is in y = mx + b form already. There are 6 equations for students to graph and a page for their workspace, if you have them make tables and graph by hand.

2) Where is the missing test?

⟫ Help Mr. Hynes find the missing test! He can’t believe he lost Kevin’s test and his parents are not happy. Kevin really wants to know what he go on it! Students will graph one inequality , already in standard form, and shade. The location of the missing test is in the solution set.

3) Who is my partner?

⟫Find out who will be partners for their final project by graphing 3 linear equations, not in standard form. The two children that each line goes through will be partners.

4) Who is in my class?

⟫Help 6 children find out who their teacher will be this year and who is in the same class by graphing 6 linear equations in standard form and not in standard form.

5) What item do I still need?

⟫Figure out which school supply item he still needs to buy! He found 9 out of 10. The school supply item he still needs will be the solution set of three inequalities.

6) Linear Equation and Inequality Quiz

⟫ Students will be given a 6 question quiz/practice/homework that aligns with the quick checks in these activities. You get three versions of this quiz with different headings (same questions) so you can decide how you want to use it. All questions don’t include sign flipping
