In this activity, students will have 15 problems with integer answers. They will practice solely one-step addition and subtraction questions, with varying set-ups and variables. There is room to show work!

This colour by number has the equations right on the spot where students are meant to colour, making it easier for them to go and write the solved solution before colouring.

Here is a FIVE Station activity on probability. Students rotate through the stations working on different aspects of probability with decks of cards.

**NOTE - I actually use this in a 7 station setup. One station is group 1-on-1 with me and another group is at the computers. (See last thumbnail for explanation.)

Here's a fun activity that my students have always loved! The results of this one have been pretty amazing. I challenge the students to pick a number with at least a three level prime factorization and make a 3D Factor Tree. They can use anything!!! As long as the final project is not flat!!

Lesson - Making Predictions from Experimental Probability

I prefer to have students utilize websites that will provide real time support and results to students. Another possibility would be to pair with one of my color by number assignments. This is good option because students have to find their answer on the coloring sheet, if their answer is not there they immediately know that a mistake was made and can has for assistance. Lesson - Area of a Circle

This product includes notes to help introduce or review how to calculate the area of a circle when given either its radius or diameter. This product includes detailed notes for finding the circumference from both the diameter and radius that students can use as an quick reference, 8 practice problems and a 5 question exit ticket.

Lesson - Area of Parts of a Circle

This product includes notes to help introduce or review how to calculate the area of quarter circles, semi-circles and three-quarters of a circle when given either its radius or diameter. This product includes detailed notes for finding the area of the 4 various parts of a circle (1, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4) that students can use as an quick reference, 8 practice problems and a 5 question exit ticket.

1. Using π=3, this is a helpful method to use for students who may struggle with doing basic calculations by hand or showing students how using 3 as an estimate of pi gives very close approximation of the true answer.
