The notes section of my products include a detailed step by step explanation of each problem with all work shown. By including the steps for each skill this will help to comply with various accommodations we must provide our students. The practice section will include skill based practice problems similar to the example and at least one version of the various ways questions are asked. The quick check section will include at least one problem of each type of question that was seen in the practice section. A suggested use of these notes would be:\n\n1. **Initial Teach**: Review any vocabulary and notes with the students to introduce the topic.\n\n2. **Guided Practice**: Complete the practice section with students, either as a guided, with a partner, or independently. Review answers immediately.\n\n3. **Independent Practice**: This will need to be supplemented, I personally prefer having students work on an online program which will provide instant feedback and a variety of questions. I prefer to have students utilize websites that will provide real time support and results to students. Another possibility would be to pair with one of my color by number assignments. This is good option because students have to find their answer on the coloring sheet, if their answer is not there they immediately know that a mistake was made and can has for assistance. Look for corresponding activities in the bundles listed here.\n\n4. **Assessment**: The quick is a great informal assessment tool, this can be used as either an exit ticket or you may choose to take this as a grade depending on what works for you and your students.\n\nAs technology is progressing, there are many fantastic software programs that schools are acquiring, I believe as students learn they must be receiving instant feedback on their work so they can grow and improve in real time. As a result, my products are focused solely on the skill itself. I am only including a small variety of questions for each topic, my intention is for students to use these notes as a guide as they practice and utilize whichever software/online program/additional practice you are providing.\n\nIf these types of activities are something you enjoy, please consider subscribing to my bi-weekly mailing list for 5 FREE Order of Operations Color By Number activities.\n\nCLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE\\\n\\*\\*Be sure to confirm your subscription after submitting the form, you may want to check your spam folder if you do not immediately receive the confirmation in your email\\*\\*\n\n**Resource List**\\\nThis resource is a part of my 7th grade skills based curriculum that I am building, this is a work in progress and I will be focusing on 7th grade TEKS this year with hopes to expand to 6th and 8th grade. A suggested use of these notes would be:\x3C/p>\x3Col>\x3Cli>\x3Cp>\x3Cstrong>Initial Teach\x3C/strong>: Review any vocabulary and notes with the students to introduce the topic.\x3C/p>\x3C/li>\x3Cli>\x3Cp>\x3Cstrong>Guided Practice\x3C/strong>: Complete the practice section with students, either as a guided, with a partner, or independently. This is good option because students have to find their answer on the coloring sheet, if their answer is not there they immediately know that a mistake was made and can has for assistance. Real-Life Math fun activity! Multiplying Binomials- To FOIL quickly accurately
By Daniel
It is always a good strategy to review essential skills with your students, and this is right up there with the most essential!
Lots of practice to FOIL binomials well. This task builds up from basic multiplication of whole numbers to complex binomials. The six tasks build gradually in complexity and involves 1) multiplying whole numbers, 2) multiplying integers, 3) multiplying positive monomials, 4) multiplying positive and negative monomials with binomials, 5) multiplying binomials with leading coefficient of 1 and 6) multiplying binomials with leading coefficient different from 1.
Students will clarify the following topics through thorough practice:
And here is another resource on Binomials that you may not want to miss!

Lesson - 3D Geometry - Volume of Pyramids - Working Backwards, Solve for B or h
By Manic Math Teacher
Lesson - Volume of Rectangular & Triangular Pyramids - Working Backward, Solving for the Area of the Base (B) or height (h)
This product includes notes which can help to introduce or review working backwards from the volume to determine either the area of the base (B) or the height (h) of the pyramid.
Intentions
My goal for my products are for students to have solid, skill based resources that they can go back and reference at anytime. A suggested use of these notes would be:
Initial Teach: Review any vocabulary and notes with the students to introduce the topic.
Guided Practice: Complete the practice section with students, either as a guided, with a partner, or independently. Review answers immediately.
Independent Practice: This will need to be supplemented, I personally prefer having students work on an online program which will provide instant feedback and a variety of questions. I prefer to have students utilize websites that will provide real time support and results to students. Another possibility would be to pair with one of my color by number assignments. This is good option because students have to find their answer on the coloring sheet, if their answer is not there they immediately know that a mistake was made and can has for assistance. Look for corresponding activities in the bundles listed here.
Assessment: The quick is a great informal assessment tool, this can be used as either an exit ticket or you may choose to take this as a grade depending on what works for you and your students.
As technology is progressing, there are many fantastic software programs that schools are acquiring, I believe as students learn they must be receiving instant feedback on their work so they can grow and improve in real time. As a result, my products are focused solely on the skill itself. I am only including a small variety of questions for each topic, my intention is for students to use these notes as a guide as they practice and utilize whichever software/online program/additional practice you are providing.
