This is a modified polynomials activity for algebra. There are 16 questions that have students find the leading coefficients, constants, degrees, terms, and then classify the polynomials by degree and terms. This is a great activity to supplement and reinforce polynomial skills. Very interactive! My students loved doing this activity and had a better understanding for the material.

Flip Card decks are so handy for the classroom. I use them in small group work to assess and teach specific sounds, combinations of CV sounds, and to decode words together. The large format cards are great for my Grade 1 students as we can do a lot of whole class instruction and the students have so much fun coming up to the front of the class to come up with the 'really hard' CV combinations for their peers to read out loud.

Use the smaller sets for learning centres, individual work, and pair work as your students get familiar with their phonological awareness and phonemic awareness. My students happen to love 'testing' each other by flipping the cards, saying the sound, and then waiting as their 'students' write what they think is the correct letter on their whiteboards!

We love them so much as we can sneak in a little decoding and Science of Reading whenever we get a minute or two of time to fill.

Make your Christmas Holiday Party Games fun with this engaging, hands-on pin the red nose on the reindeer making activity! This includes 1 low-prep reindeer template perfect for having fun with Christmas holiday reindeer. Quick and easy setup plus clear student directions make this activity perfect for centers or substitute days, too!

Lead your students in a fun game of pin the tail on the donkey/aka pin the nose on the reindeer by cutting out the red noses, taping the reindeer on the wall, blindfolding a child and letting them see how close they get to the reindeer nose. Students will love playing pin the nose on the reindeer together by using their problem solving skills & guessing through this fun activity, and won't even realize how much they're having fun! Use it after read a story about reindeer or sing a song about reindeer. You can even print out multiple reindeer for your students to glue on a nose and decorate.
