These guided notes are a great way to instruct and/or review your ratios unit! Topics include introduction to ratios, equivalent ratios, modeling equivalent ratios (ratio table, double number line, tape diagram), rates and unit rates, graphing ratios, ratios as percent, and converting between fractions, decimals and percents. Each topic includes key vocabulary, step by step instructions, and practice problems. My students use their notebook as a key resource throughout the entire year. Even past students come back to me to tell me that they still use their 6th grade notebooks. **These notes are only for the Ratios Unit. For a set of notes for the entire year, check out my 6th Grade Guided Math Notes here! The full year notes include the ratios unit, number systems, expressions and equations, geometry, and statistics and probability.
