In this product, students will review New Year's Eve/Day vocabulary and their signs and other vocabulary that appears in the product. There are two templates in this product. The first template allows students to write their answer and draw a picture or cut and paste a picture card provided on each page of the booklet. The second template allows students to cut and paste picture a picture card provided as their answer.

On each template, students will answer 10 questions about resolutions/goals they have for the coming year. On the page after each question, will be a section of pictures that students can choose from to answer each question. Sign language is also incorporated on each of the 10 question pages that emphasize New Year's Eve and Day vocabulary words.

This product can also be laminated. The picture cards can be cut out and Velcro can be applied to each one so it can be used again. Students can use a dry erase marker to write responses if product is laminated.

New Year's Write the Room: Celebrate the New Year with this engaging printable write-the-room activity! Use this writing activity in your AVID classroom, ELA, or any content area. This activity features 8 unique labels you can display around your room, each representing a letter to spell out "New Year." Need an engaging, no prep after winter break activity? Your students will love this interactive digital escape room.

This activity is designed to work on laptops, tablets, or smartphones.

Your students will “visit” four different cities: New York, Paris, Rome and Tokyo.

In order to travel from one city to another, they will have to solve one step equations.

There are 40 one step equations.

After completing each game, they will find a link that will take them to another location.

Since this escape room is online (interactive pages) there is very little prep; just duplicate the student answer sheet, provide the link, and off they go! There are no locks to configure or clues to hide—everything you need is online. No Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams logins are necessary.
