Looking for an easy, engaging, and cross-curricular art activity? This robot-themed lesson combines creativity with literacy, making it perfect for art integration, sub plans, or mini-lessons. Students will create unique robot art pieces that not only develop artistic skills but also enhance key literacy competencies. Plus, their creations will make a fantastic hallway or classroom display!

Why You’ll Love This Resource:

  • Minimal prep—just print the student pages and gather a few simple materials.
  • Ideal for substitute plans, emergency lessons, homeschooling, or quick, effective mini-lessons.
  • Designed to captivate even the most reluctant learners with a roll-and-draw game element that encourages creativity.
  • Includes hand-drawn resources to take the pressure off perfection, helping students feel confident and engaged.

What’s Included:

  • Non-editable PDF
  • Roll-and-draw game sheet
  • Reflection sheets

Why Hand-Drawn Matters:

Teacher-Approved!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kiera M. says:
"Great art activity to put in emergency plans! The writing activities go well with it, and the activity is versatile enough that you can use it in nearly any grade level."

Whether you’re planning for the week ahead or preparing for the unexpected, this robot art activity is a must-have addition to your teaching toolkit.

Painting Art: Birch Trees.

By Art Shack by JB

Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Fall/Winter Birch Tree Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. It is best to use watercolor paper for this unit, since it does the best job of absorbing and working with the watercolor paint. However, if watercolor paper is not at your disposal, please find the heaviest white drawing paper you can find. Painter’s Tape is also best for this assignment, but in a pinch, you may use masking tape- although masking tape may need to be stuck to a different surface (shirt/), it isn’t too sticky on the paper. I hope you have as much fun with this artwork as I have! I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.
