I always have my kids create actions that go with the pictures. This allows them to be active while doing letter sounds! Research shows that adding movement to learning can also help in the retrieval and retention of information.

CVC Cards in 7 different styles for differentiated learning. Let these cards grow with your students! 85 words covering short a, e, i, o, and u. Each word comes in 7 different styles including phonics dots and arrows, phonics dots, word only, and picture only. Almost 600 cards included! Laminate the picture only cards and have students create the CVC word with dry erase markers or letter manipulatives.

Cards are four to a page so that they're large enough to put up on the wall but still small enough for students to use easily. These are low prep...just print, cut and laminate. Please check out the preview above to see examples of the different card styles!

2. CVCe Self Checking Word Cards - This set of cards are designed to be an independant center where students practice reading CVCe words. After reading the word, they open the card to check to see if the word was read correctly.

3. CVCe Non-Sense Word Cards - There are two card formats in this product. There are cards in the same form as the Self-Checking cards above where students can use to sort real and non-sense words. (Non-sense words have no pictures inside). There are also just word cards for students to practice reading non-sense words. (COMING SOON)

4. CVCe vs. CVC Clip Cards - Each clip card has a picture of a CVCe or a CVC word and students must put the clip on the correct spelling of the word.
