One mat formats has circles for students to place their seeds in and the other format has lines where students will place ten seeds. Both sets of mats can accommodate up to 1000 seeds.
These mats are designed to help reinforce learning with place value and skip counting by 10s and 100s. Have students make predictions about how may seeds are in their pumpkin and use the mats to test their hypothesis.
