Christmas Memory Game with counters

Engage Your Students with Fun and Educational Memory Card Games!
Get ready to have a blast while learning with our Memory Card Game resource. This classic game offers an exciting way for students to enhance their reading skills, recognize 3D shapes, identify colors and numbers, and improve their counting abilities—all while keeping their memory sharp!
With 24 memory games available in 6 different engaging modes, the learning possibilities are endless:
1. Find the Same Picture - Three diverse decks featuring Christmas symbols, presents, and ornaments, and cookies. Match identical pictures to exercise visual recognition skills.
2. Find the Word - In the Christmas Symbols deck, challenge students to associate words with corresponding pictures, boosting their vocabulary and language comprehension.
3. Match the Numbers - In the ball ornaments and cookies deck, match numbers 1 to 9 in a ball with cards displaying 1 to 9 cookies. This mode reinforces numerical recognition and counting proficiency.
Keep Score in Style:
Incorporate healthy competition and teamwork by dividing students into different teams. Our updated version features four boxes at the bottom of the slide, each representing a team. Click on the counters to keep track of scores, adding an exciting element to the game.
Shuffle the Cards for Endless Fun:
To ensure a unique experience every time you play, we've included a handy shuffle button in the bottom left corner. Click it to rearrange the cards, providing a fresh challenge for each round. If by chance the cards seem familiar, simply click the button again for a new layout.
Note: Enabling Macros for Enhanced Functionality
To fully enjoy the interactive features, including the shuffle function, make sure to enable Macros when prompted upon opening the PowerPoint Show. This will allow seamless gameplay and maximum enjoyment.

Students can practice letter and number recognition by matching capital and lowercase letters, matching numbers and number words up to 20, as well as matching numbers and pictures up to 10.

Where is the present? This Christmas alphabet game is great for students who are practicing letter sounds or letter recognition. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for a Preschool, Pre-k or Kindergarten classroom.
Ways to Use
How to Play
Where's the Present? is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a present is hidden behind a Christmas tree. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the letter they think the present is behind. Once guessed, the letter is removed. If the present is behind the tree, then the present must be hidden again to play further. If the present is not behind the tree, then the poem is chanted again with a new letter. This game has letters in both capital and lowercase forms.

Christmas Shape and Counting Game

Practice matching shapes and simple counting with this fun Christmas themed card game.
Decorate the Tree!
1. Give each student one Christmas Tree mat.
2. Shuffle the shape cards and place them face down in the middle of the students.
3. The first student will draw a card and place that many of the particular shape on their tree. If the “Give a gift” card is drawn, then if the student has enough shapes on their tree, then they are to give one to each of the other players.
4. When all the cards are gone, the game is done.
The playing mats and game cards are available in color and in black and white. Use shape blocks to place the correct shape(s) on the tree.
