This Match-Select-Name (M-S-N) Reading and Writing Bundle contains both the reading and writing packs of the Basketball M-S-N unit. These units provide resources for the acquisition and fluency stages of the M-S-N method.

The Match-Select-Name method was presented by L. Oelwein. There has been a significant amount of research done on the efficacy of this method.

It is shown to be beneficial for students with exceptionalities including Down’s Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder who are struggling to learn

to read using phonics.

The resources included in this unit support the acquisition and fluency stages for the 24 words in the set. The sight words in this set are from the Pre-primer and Primer Dolch word lists.
