I always have my kids create actions that go with the pictures. This allows them to be active while doing letter sounds! Research shows that adding movement to learning can also help in the retrieval and retention of information.

These find the letters are perfect for any homeschool or preschool classroom. All you have to do is print and go! They can be used in a variety of ways including dotting the letters with a dot marker, circling the letters as a worksheet, placing in page protectors and using it as a wipe off dry erase activity, or even playdough! These are quick to assemble and can be reprinted and reused over and over.

Alphabet Fun is a great resource for teaching letter recognition and sounds. The booklet includes two pages for each alphabet letter, one review page for every two letters and a "watch" for children to wear home encouraging their families to ask about the letter sound they mastered that day.
