What a unique twist on task cards! Each task card has a mini word search with four words related to beginning skills for young children. (Shapes, Colors, Seasons, Calendar Skills, Numbers, and Emotions)

Laminate this set to make it Reusable and Erasable.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

This deck has 20 cards where students will find the beginning sounds for each picture. Students will sound out the beginning sound of the picture displayed. They will locate the shell with that letter and drag it to the beginning of the word. Once they choose a letter, it will self-check and let the students know if they have the correct answer or not.

BOOM CARDS™ are interactive task cards played on a website called Boom Learning. You must be connected to the internet to play and can play on the internet browser or on the app. To play the game you must have a free or paid account. ❤️Looking for a fun and engaging way to celebrate Dental Health Week / Month this February? These differentiated charts, sorting play mats, puzzles, task cards, and mini picture cards are the perfect way to help your preschool, kindergarten, or first grade students master dental health concepts, while practicing their literacy, and fine motor skills!

✏️Students can use the sorting mats, charts and mini cards to identify and sort healthy vs. unhealthy foods and habits for teeth. You could also use this activity in a whole group lesson to teach about dental health.

✏️Students can use the puzzle activities to match foods and habits that are healthy for teeth to the happy tooth and unhealthy for teeth to the unhappy tooth.

✏️You can also make this activity into a game by giving each student a puzzle piece. They can then walk around the room to find a matching partner.

✏️Use the task cards to practice identifying good vs. bad foods for our teeth. Students can use clothes pins or small manipulatives to show their answers.

These visually pleasing CVC Picture Word Task Cards focus on sounding and spelling and helps students build fluency, build background knowledge of CVC words and pictures, and practice letter-sound correspondence. Task Cards include short vowel A, E, I, O, U.

Set #1: (256 Task Cards - (128 in COLOR and 128 in Black and White WITH CVC Words)

Set #1 Task Cards include the CVC Words above the picture. The colored Task Cards contain the vowel letter in the color red. For the Black and White Task Cards, the CVC word is printed in plain black above the picture.

Set #2: (256 Task Cards - (128 in COLOR and 128 in Black and White WITHOUT CVC Words)

Set #2 Task Cards include just the CVC pictures without the CVC words displayed above them. These picture Task Cards come in color and black and white. Students look at the pictures and say the CVC word that corresponds to it. You can simply print out the Black and White Task Cards and have them color the picture and write the corresponding CVC word on the task card.

*** There are 128 DIFFERENT Picture and Word Task Cards. These 128 Picture/Word Task Cards are differentiated in 4 different ways.

Both sets of Task Cards have a variety of uses. They are great for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade letter-sound review. They can be used in centers, small groups, tutoring, as a hands-on morning work activity, for early finishers, home-school activity, literacy center, etc.
