Less than $5 Pre-K Math Games (by date, oldest first)

These adorable candy bags are perfect to teach students one-to-one correspondence. Students place paper candy pieces (or m&ms if you're feeling extra fun!) on the numbered candy bags. There are optional "errorless" candy bags available where students can place one piece over one circle to count each number. Perfect for lower elementary and special education.

Students will count pictures in a ten frame and in a collection and match them to the corresponding number.

This is a fun, low prep activity that kids will love doing around the holidays! Students will match and sort numbers to number words, lines, and objects. Laminate all parts and attach velcro if desired. Perfect for fast finishers, independent work, RtI, and special education.

Domino Subitizing Game - Match the number to the ten frame

This printable is a fun, hands-on and engaging Subitizing Domino game which can be played with Kindergarteners or preschoolers to practice their Subitizing skills. Learners will match the ten frame to the number.

What does this printable contain?

This domino bundle contains 76 dominoes in several different variations. Learners will match the dominoes based on the five or ten frame to the number.

This printable comes in three levels with the dominoes for easy differentiation with your learners.

It includes numbers from:

Level 1: 1 to 5

Level 2: 1 to 10

Level 3: 1 to 20

Each level also comes in two different versions; the numbers are in numerical order or the numbers are in random order.

How to use?

To play, print and laminate the pages for the topic required. In the printable there are two dominoes per page, which can be printed as is for a floor game. If you would like to make the dominoes smaller, print several pages a page (I normally print 8 dominoes onto a page, which allows for use on a table or as a small group activity).

Students will begin with the 'START' domino and then slowly work their way through the dominoes until they reach the domino with the 'END' on it. Dominoes can be matched in any way they like, whether that's vertically or horizontally.

This Kindergarten Domino Literacy Center is a fun, hands-on and engaging CVC Words Rhyming game which can be played with Kindergarteners or preschoolers to practice CVC Rhyming Words.

What does this printable contain?

How do I prepare this Ice Cream Word Families resource?

To prep this activity, print and laminate the pages. Print copies of the recording sheet if required. Cut apart the pages to create the ice cream cones and ice cream scoops.

How do my students play this ice cream word family activity?

Learners will pick up an ice cream cone, and identify the word family on it. They will then find the ice cream scoops that match the word family on their cone and place it on top. In this way learners will build up an ice-cream word family. They can record their responses in the recording sheet if required.
