H-Insertion Visuals - Speech Therapy Initial /H/ - Apraxia - Prevocalic Voicing
By The SLP Curriculum
This resource was created in order to help Speech Language Pathologists target initial phonemes at the word level. This resource includes a total of 40 pictured initial /h/ CV and CVC words to use the h-insertion trick during speech therapy sessions.
The h-insertion trick can be an extremely helpful strategy to use when children are stuck at the isolation level of a sound. By producing /h/ after the initial sound, the child continues their air flow, making it easier to produce the following vowel. This helps them to eliminate the prior habit of producing the incorrect sound.
*Can be paired with all initial sounds!*
If you haven't tried /h/-insertion, download this FREEBIE and see it work it's magic!
Included in this resource:
H-Insertion can help target the following:
Used in Mixed Groups!
Vocabulary: State meaning of words, along with synonyms and antonyms.
Wh- questions: Ask who, what, where, when, why questions about each word.
Sentence production: Elicit full sentences containing each elicited word.

Food Pack Speech Therapy Opportunities English
By ARIANA PEREZ
A new addition to my Speech Therapy, or as I like to call them, Opportunities pack.
This engaging product is designed to motivate children to speak and practice their language skills in a fun and interactive way, with a delightful farmer's market theme that will capture their imaginations.
This comprehensive resource includes a variety of open-ended questions, such as "What will mom buy today?" and "What are we having for breakfast?" These questions encourage children to express themselves, develop their vocabulary, and practice their speech sounds, while also fostering important skills such as predicting and making requests.
To make the learning experience even more exciting, the product also includes clipart of different foods that can be printed, laminated, cut out and use with velcro. Additionally, it also includes a coloring page of clipart you can use as answers. These adorable food drawings can be used as visual aids, allowing children to use them as answers to the questions. This hands-on approach enhances their speech and language skills in a multi-sensory way and promotes understanding of prepositions such as "in," "out," "full," "half," and more, as they interact with the cookie jar activity included in the pack.
Parents and teachers will find this resource easy to use, with clear instructions and colorful visuals that make speech therapy sessions enjoyable and effective. The farmer's market theme adds a touch of creativity and imagination to the learning process, making it a hit with children.
This is a valuable tool for building their speech and language skills, including prepositions and counting. This comprehensive pack offers endless opportunities for communication, prediction, and interaction, making it well worth the investment.

Valentine's Day Following Directions - Spatial Concepts - Speech Therapy
By The SLP Curriculum
This winter Valentine's Day activity resource serves as a great way to teach speech language therapy students or English language learners how to follow directions and produce sentences containing spatial concepts. While many resources offer mixed practice with multiple spatial concepts at the same time, this is often too much for our students to handle. This resource allows for repeated blocked practice for each individual spatial concept to improve memory and understanding of the concept. Spatial concepts are presented in opposites, with one concept emphasized on each page. This activity allows for increased language comprehension while also providing opportunity for vocabulary development, sequencing, categorization, and sentence production.
Included in this resource:
Task Cards/Flash Cards can be used to drill spatial concepts with the fun Love Monster picture, engaging students as they practice following directions. They can also be used as memory games or paired with motivating board games. These task Cards include:
