Develop fine motor prewriting skills and help your students identify shapes with these shapes dough mats and worksheets. Roll and put together dough to make the shapes. And, roll out and use cookie cutters for more fine motor practice. Improve scissor skills by cutting out shapes and gluing them on the matching shape. Finally, they use the shape worksheets for tracing and writing practice. All activities are in color and B/W. Great for Preschool and Kindergarten.

Use these weekly thematic word work units to introduce new words and practice spelling, handwriting, sentence building, and drawing. Each week features a different themed picture or pictures, six vocabulary words to learn, and five days of quick, fun activities using those words. Daily activities are numbered to keep the student on track and are quick enough to be used as morning work or in a literacy center. All units include five weeks of vocabulary work so that in months with four weeks you can choose the themes that best fit your classroom. It includes two pages for each alphabet letter, one review page for every two letters and a "watch" for children to wear home encouraging their families to ask about the letter sound they mastered that day.
