"Caught Ya Being Respectful" is a fun and engaging activity that not only gets students talking about being respectful and what that looks like, but it also encourages them to make connections of people (that they know and often admire!) that are showing respect around them as well! This activity includes everything needed for your next classroom lesson on respect, including two worksheets (Wanted Poster and Bonus Activity!) as well as different ideas that you can do with the finished products! My students LOVED this and it was fun for our teachers to see the outcome as well. We got a lot of learning and laughs out of this activity!

Community building activities come in handy at the start of the year... and beyond! This activity focuses on not only working together and building community, but also allows students opportunity to practice active listening skills with a focus on listening to understand and absorb information rather than listening to respond. This activity is great for the basics of get to know you and team building questions, but could also be used to answer more academic-based questions as well. It is fun, interactive, and engaging, which offers a fun change of pace to the classroom!

"Kind or Trash" gives a fun new outlook on discussing kind vs unkind actions for younger elementary students. While the discussion is great, this activity also gets them up and moving and looking forward to their turn! This activity had my classes engaged through the entire lesson and it created great conversation as well! The basket and recycling bin is a great visual for students as they are recognizing kind vs unkind actions.

Know Your Impact - Middle School/High School

If you are looking for a fun, engaging, and interactive activity for your elementary students - this is for you!! This activity gets students working together, up and moving around, while they also practice perseverance, self-control, patience, and so much more! Add academic questions to each of the "snowballs" that they must answer to finish the race and watch all of the learning happen! So. Much. Fun!

Fun for all ages - my students LOVE playing Minute to Win It games with one another. Who doesn't love a little fun and movement during this busy time of year!! These activities are also a great way to bring classmates together, add healthy competition, and work on showing patience and encouragement to others. Please note that there are other supplies needed for several of these activities to help it run successfully: balloons, cup, paper (snowballs + wreath), spoons, deck of cards, bags.

An absolute favorite for my students (and myself!) This activity not only brings fun energy to the classroom, but creates creative thinking opportunities and works on accepting losses and encouraging others. It is a great way to review different subjects or topics as well, while also adding in some fun! 10 pages of different categories are provided, as well as blank cards to add your very own categories!! This "What Career" card game is played similar to the card game "Apples to Apples" and my students LOVED it! It lead to a lot of conversation, sharing of likes and dislikes, and questioning of what specific careers were - it was so refreshing to listen to them talk non-stop about careers during these class periods! Think Before You Speak Game - An Interactive SEL Lesson

"So You Think You Know Directions?!" is an absolute hit for my students! Prepare for a fun, engaging, and new favorite classroom activity for all! This activity focuses on multiple social emotional learning topics - attentive listening, awareness, team building, perseverance, respectful communication, and SO much more ALL in ONE activity! This digital download comes with everything you need for your next classroom lesson - detailed instructions, ready-to-print cards, and a guide for the teacher! Your students will all work together to complete one goal - get from person #1 to the last person, without skipping anyone in between! Each card comes with a different task that each student will be asked to complete. The cards must be completed in order, but you are only able to know what is on your card and no one else's and participants aren't able to talk (cue the attentiveness!) Didn't quite get it the first time... or the second... maybe it took a third try? No worries... cue the perseverance and respectful communication!
