Cooking Time!!!

This is a matching game to help learn and comprehend some cooking vocabulary words. There are 54 vocabulary words included. The vocabulary words focus on cooking utensils, knife cuts, recipe words, and more!

This product will take some prep. You will need to cut out each square along the dotted lines to separate each card (4 cards per page). Once you have it separated, you will then shuffle the cards and match the card with the word and picture on it with the definition. Another way to play the activity is to flip all of the cards face down and then flip them over and try to find the matching card.

The product includes both a colored and a black/white version. The colored version has more in-depth images also. There is also an answer key included.

IMPORTANT:

• Credit is required if you’re using my art in your products, whether for sale or giveaway. Please credit Clever Cat Creations and include my logo in your credits page. A link to my store would be much appreciated!

• Clip art must always be combined with your own educational content in products for sale or giveaway.

• Ensure that images are flattened as jpgs or secure pdfs in your final product so that my work can’t be extracted. This protects your purchase and my creative rights.

This license gives a single user lifetime permission to use one customized piece of my clip art in a logo. With this license you don’t need to provide credit for your logo and you can use it on all your branding (logo, store, products, blog, social media, etc.) The rest of my Terms of Use remain the same.

PLEASE NOTE: The only exception is my cat clip art, which I don’t want to be used in any logos. However I can draw a new cat for you :)

How will the image be customized?

I can make one or several small changes to an existing image so that the final version is unique to you and your branding. For example, if you want to use one of my kid images I can change their hairstyle, facial expression, hair color and clothing color. Additional details can be added or removed. Nobody else will own this specific version!

After a lot of thought, I have decided to allow my buyers to use my clip art as moveable images in digital resources without needing to layer the images. While it would be appreciated if you layer and group images when possible, (with text or a background) I understand that it isn’t always practical for educational games and want you to get the most use out of any clip art you purchase from me.

Why am I releasing this as a new product?

I want as many of my buyers as possible to see this and benefit from it. This includes people who have already purchased the extended license, as I don’t think people tend to go back and look at past purchases. I will be deactivating the previous version of this license to avoid confusion, but you will still be able to access it if you’ve purchased it and you own this new license if you purchased the previous license. PLEASE do not purchase it again!

Does this license allow me to use Clever Cat Creations clip art as is, without layering, in digital products?

Yes! I know this makes it much easier for me people to lift my clip art directly out of products that way, but have realized that people are either honest, or they’re not. The dishonest ones are already ignoring my TOU. Now I’d like to do something that will benefit most of my lovely buyers.

THE DETAILS:

• PLEASE ACTIVATE YOUR LICENSE by emailing me at askclevercat@gmail.com with your name, your store name, order number and date of purchase. I will record these details and reply to your email asap.
• Platforms which this license allows you to my use my clip art in as movable pieces are: Google Slides, Google Drive, Smartboard files, PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft OneDrive, Keynote presentations and SeeSaw. If there’s a platform you want to use that I haven’t covered here please email me.
• This extended license gives a single user permission to use my clip art as moveable pieces in digital products – no layering required. This applies to ALL my clip art. However please note ‘single user’ – if more than one person will be using the graphics, you need to purchase an extra license even if the end product will be listed in only one store.
• This is a license for extended use. No clip art is included. The other restrictions in my TOU still apply (educational content and not graphics must be the main focus of your product, you can’t resell the clip art, etc) so please familiarize yourselves with my general TOU and get in touch if you have questions.
• Adding your own unique educational content is essential. The graphics should enhance the product, not be the main component. Images cannot be used as stand-alone images or in templates.
• This license is only for small commercial use and classroom use. You can’t use my images for educational apps without express permission. Digital templates, stickers, stamps, editable games without a lot of your own unique content, and including an entire set of clip art as movable pieces in one product are also not allowed.
• You still need to credit my store and provide a link. Additionally, I’d like you to add your order number and the words ‘Clip art from Clever Cat Creations remains the intellectual property of the author. You may not use this clip art in your own work. Please visit the store and buy the clip art and appropriate license’. I don’t mind if the writing is tiny and I may reword this a bit, but I’ll be doing spot checks on digital products.
• Please only use my clip art as movable pieces for classroom use or for PAID products. I prefer them not to be used in FREE products.
• You can’t include a whole set as a value-added extra in any of your products – when you use graphics as movable pieces, your product needs to have value in itself. You can’t resell the clip art itself in any way.
• You do not need to purchase this license if you only want to use the images to make Boom Cards or on TeachShare Easel as that is already allowed in my general TOU. Additionally, if you’re going to use my graphics in a digital product but don’t need it to be movable (if it’s secured in the background), you don’t need to purchase this license.
• I retain the copyright for all my images. Copying images, sharing them or placing them on the internet (even a personal/classroom website) is not allowed.
• In future I may decide not to offer this license anymore, in which case new buyers won’t be able to purchase it. But if you’ve purchased it, you own it for life!

Images may be quite large for digital use:

• I’m going to add some tips on reducing file size for digital products. Unfortunately, I can’t do so today as the electricity outages here are currently a nightmare and I wanted buyers to be able to take advantage of the TeachShare site-wide sale.
