Deaf Education - ASL and English Second Grade Sight Words Vocabulary Workbook

In this product, students will learn the sign and English vocabulary word for the 46 second-grade sight words presented.
This product can be used with students who are learning English and/or sign language. It can serve as an in class practice, review, or quiz.
In the first section of the product, students will learn the English word, the sign of each second-grade sight word, and the second-grade sight word is used in a sentence. Students will be able to write the name of each second-grade sight word in their native language. A picture is also included to represent each second-grade sight word. At the end of this section, students will have the opportunity to choose 11 second-grade sight words and make up a sentence using each one.
In the second section of the product, there is a dictionary provided that includes the English word, the sign, and a picture showing each second-grade sight word.
In the third section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign, sentence, and picture that are included for each second-grade sight word provided. Students will then be required to write the vocabulary word in English.
In the fourth section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign and picture that are included for each word provided. Students will then be required to write each second-grade sight word in their native language on each line and make up a sentence using the second-grade
sight words presented.
In the fifth section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign and picture that are included for each word provided. Students will then be required to write each second-grade sight word in English on each line and make up a sentence using the second-grade sight words presented.

ESL Feelings Vocabulary Workbook and Sentence Review for Newcomers

In this product, students will learn the English vocabulary word for the 64 different feelings vocabulary words presented.
Students will initially write each vocabulary word in their native language after learning the English word and being shown a picture. At the end of this section, students will have the opportunity to choose 8 feeling vocabulary words and make up a sentence using each one. Students will also be provided with comprehension sentences regarding feeling vocabulary words that were presented.
In the second section of the product, there is a feeling vocabulary review that requires students to write the English word and the word in the student's native language based on the picture and sentence provided for each feeling vocabulary word.
In the third section of the product, there is a feeling vocabulary review that requires students to make up a sentence for each feeling vocabulary word learned in their native language.
In the fourth section of this product, students will then be required to write the English feeling vocabulary word and make up a sentence in English.

Deaf Education - ASL and English Family Vocabulary Workbook and Review

In this product, students will learn the sign and English vocabulary word for the different family 42 vocabulary words presented.
This product can be used with students who are learning English and sign language. It can serve as an in class practice, review, or quiz.
In the first section of the product, students will learn the English word, the sign of the family vocabulary item, and will be able to write the name of the item in their native language. A picture is also included to represent each family vocabulary word. At the end of this section, students will answer comprehension questions that relate with the family vocabulary words that were learned in this product.
In the second section of the product, there is a dictionary provided that includes the English word, the sign, and a picture showing the family vocabulary words presented.
In the third section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign and picture that are included for each word provided. Students will then be required to write the English word on the each line.

The book, Real Friends by Shannon Hale and Leuyen Pham is great for children ages 7 - 13 years old, as they can relate with Shannon, the friends she makes along the way, the friendships she struggles to maintain, the lack of self confidence she has and she becomes more confident along the way, learning that you can have more than one friend, the importance of friendship, how to handle stressful situations, anxiety, conflict, and bullying. Students will follow Shannon along as she figures out where to fit in at home and in school. The comprehension questions in this product relate with the text as well as students own experiences. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and example sentences are presented in the packet. Students can also write vocabulary words in sentences. As the book is being read aloud, as students are reading the book or after the book has been read, students can answer the comprehension questions in this packet. An answer key is provided at the end of this product. Students can also answer comprehension questions towards the end of the packet as well that summarize the entire book.

Deaf Education - ASL and English Money Vocabulary Workbook and Sentence Review

In this product, students will learn the sign and English vocabulary word for the 50 different money vocabulary words presented.
This product can be used with students who are learning English and/or sign language. It can serve as an in class practice, review, or quiz.
In the first section of the product, students will learn the English word, the sign of each money vocabulary item, and the money vocabulary word will be used in a sentence. Students will be able to write the name of the item in their native language. A picture is also included to represent each money vocabulary word. At the end of this section, students will have the opportunity to choose 11 money vocabulary words and make up a sentence using each one.
In the second section of the product, there is a dictionary provided that includes the English word, the sign, and a picture showing each money vocabulary word presented.
In the third section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign, sentence, and picture that are included for each word provided. Students will then be required to write the word in English.
In the fourth section of the product, students can review what they learned based on the sign and picture that are included for each word provided. Students will then be required to write the English word on each line and make up a sentence using the money vocabulary word presented.
Money vocabulary words that are included in this product include words such as account, allowance, balance, wallet, money, change denominations, broke cash, dollar, etc. to help students learn how to count money, add money, subtract money, use money when buying items they want and need, where they can go to get money, what documents they may need to deposit or withdraw money.
