Ways to use:

1. Meet the Teacher Event Invitations: Send personalized postcards to each student before the school year begins, inviting them and their families to a "Meet the Teacher" event. This allows students to get to know their new teacher in a relaxed and friendly setting.

A fun social studies and geography activity for your students to learn about Christmas traditions and cultures around the world. Appropriate for all ages, from middle school through high school. This can be used in all social studies classes and makes a great holiday & winter break activity. Not only will students have fun with this Christmas geography activity, but they will be learning. Every moment is a teaching moment**.**

Students will work in collaborative groups. Each team will need a whiteboard to write their answers on. Each "Hint" slide includes five hints, one displayed at a time until all hints are presented. Each team will be given 10 seconds to write their answer on answer on the board. When the teacher says, "Jingle bells." All teams show their answers. Each team that guesses the correct answer will receive a token.

Note: A map for each team may be of some help. Have fun! I know your students will. For middle school and high school.

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Students will be assigned a team.
• As the hints appear on each slide, teammates will determine what country to which the hints are referring.
• You will write your answer on your whiteboard.
• Once all 5 hints are presented, you will have 10 seconds to write the name of the country on your whiteboard.
• The instructor will say “Jingle Bells,” communicating that you may show your answer.
• Each team that gets the answer correct will receive a token.
• At the end of the trivia game, the team that has the most tokens wins!

Directions:

• Name the Emoji Phrase is a very loosely structured game so setup will be determined by how you want to play.
• Consider splitting the class into teams and providing a buzzer OR creating 2 lines and having the first 2 players of each line compete against each other.

• The team that has the most points at the end of all the slides is the winner.

Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week this year with these cute postcard-style thank you notecards. Choose from 3 different options. These cards are an easy and hassle-free way to spread the love to your (or your kiddos) favorite teacher or staff member! Three different note card designs are included depending on students how much your students feel comfortable writing. Each design conveniently prints out four per page so you save paper! Save ink by opting to print the black-and-white design on your favorite colored paper! I then easily cut the cards apart using the dashed lines.

In this packet, students can answer the given comprehension questions regarding what they did during the break. Students are given opportunities to draw, answer short answer questions, circle pictures, and circle the best answer. Throughout the product, there are also vocabulary lists to help students answer comprehension questions if they are working on it independently.
