Make learning about Mardi Gras interesting with this no-prep Mardi Gras digital escape game.  The game includes access to a website where your students will hunt for the keys to unlock a set of locks.  Students will need to read the clues very carefully and watch videos, visit websites, and read texts to find the information they need to win the game.  Very easy to use - just send your students to the website and let them work!  Students can play individually or in teams. 

Mardi Gras is here! Your friend has sent you some beads, but you can't open the box they're in without figuring out the codes to the locks. Learn about Mardi Gras and open the box to get your prize in this Mardi Gras digital escape game. Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year and Spring Festival, is an annual 15-day Chinese festival that begins with the new moon that occurs between January 21 and February 20. It is an important part of Asian history and is considered the most important celebration for families and includes a week of official public holidays. The history of the Chinese New Year festival can be traced back to about 3,500 years ago.

8. Word Search: This activity enhances spelling, vocabulary recognition, and problem-solving skills.
9. Matching: Learners to make connections between words and their translations. By actively associating and pairing words together, learners establish meaningful connections that enhance their understanding and retention of vocabulary.
10. Creative Writing: Students draw from previous language knowledge to create complete sentences relevant to the new vocabulary. This is a slightly more advanced activity that allows students to use higher-level thinking and creativity to form sentences using verb tenses and additional they are familiar with.
