These are both great learning activities for your young readers.

The word-building puzzles are perfect for building words using the sounds each letter makes with the help of the visual pictures for each word as well.

The alphabet mini-books are a great resource and are easy and simple to create. Each sentence starts with the same predictable sentence. ❤ To Print Task Cards: The Task Cards, as downloaded, are 1/2 page which are great for students that need a larger size. To print 4x6 index card-sized task cards, select "2 pages per sheet". To print 3x5 index card-sized task cards, select "4 pages per sheet". These are not designed to print directly to index card template paper. What has worked best for my students was to print on heavy-duty card stock and laminate.

There is a word for each letter of the alphabet along with a picture to help the students start building words with a familiar picture.

I would print, cut, and laminate these word puzzles out for better durability and to be able to reuse them!
