New standardized tests, such as ACT and SAT, ask students to define the problem, sort through solutions, find the best solution, and explain why they chose their answers. This free graphic organizer will help students with working through the process!

This document includes two half-page writing checklists that students can use to self evaluate their writing pieces. The grading rubric is simple and easy to follow. It allows students to grade themselves on a four point grading scale based on writing quantity, quality, and neatness.
