This is a fun quick activity to go along with Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham. Students will try to persuade their audience to like their favorite food by using adjectives. I used it to go along with a lesson for Author's purpose and a review of adjectives.

This is a cut and paste activity for students to practice prepositional phrases. Students will need to cut the preposition out of the lists given and then paste it into the correct sentence. Then they will circle the prepositional phrase in the sentence.

This would be a great "Check for Understanding" activity or even a quick assessment.

Fun and interactive activity for students to relate real life writing to the use of comma rules. Have plenty of magazines, brochures, or newspapers on hand for students/small groups to cut out comma examples and paste them under the correct comma rule headings.
