What grade level:

I personally use these texts with Grade 1 and Grade 2 students in French Immersion. I feel confident that students from Kindergarten to Grade Three will find these most useful and teachers can come back to the texts with any students who may be experiencing challenges in their French reading skills. Core French teachers will be sure to add the resource to their repertoire for Grades 4 to 6 as they learn to read and write at the Junior level.

World Autism Awareness Day Activity Pack

I love creating NO PREP activities when I can for my French teacher peeps! Sharing my resources with colleagues has been a practice since the beginning of my career and I think that’s what makes us all stick together and help one another out. French resources can be scarce, and this is what has led to my starting my STORE on TeachShare.

How to use this resource:

1. Copy out pages, I like to copy out a set and then load them into the copier and make multiples that way students sitting side by side do not have the same work and they tend to be more creative with their colouring.

2. Set out as many pink colouring materials as you can and let the students go

3. I created a poster size pair of T-shirts and copied onto blue paper to make a display for World Autism Awareness Day 2024

4. Hang student artwork below your poster and display for the school to see

5. Use writing version to create slogans, sentences, or positive affirmations to raise awareness
