Each episode is broken up so they can be completed at different times. This series is a coming of age series for students at the upper elementary and middle school level. As students are watching they can fill out the comprehension questions with help or work on the questions independently. Time travel through the 1980s, 1960s, and 1930s is covered, working together, communication, never giving up until the truth is discovered is covered in this series.

CKLA follows the Science of Reading. Many schools are moving to the Science of Reading and adopting curricula like CKLA however not purchasing printable resources.
