This rounding packet has everything you need to help teach your students how to round to the nearest ten. These worksheets are scaffolded and build upon each other. There is one handout for students to keep on their desk as a reference for rounding. Then there are 9 different worksheets to help students practice the skill of rounding to the nearest ten.

What you'll get in this download:

• One page is a handout that you can give to your students to help them remember how to round. It shows a number line and what numbers round up and what numbers round down.
• There are 2 pages of practice that help students practice finding their number on the number line and distinguishing what two groups of tens the number is between. They will correctly identify where the given number is located.
• 1 page has students practice identifying what two groups of tens the number is between and then decide what group of ten their number is closest to.
• 2 pages of practice that have students round to the nearest ten. These worksheets have the number line on the top to help assist students.
• 2 pages of practice that just have the student round to the nearest ten without any guided help. This is perfect to introduce rounding and then to have them independently work on it to show what they know.
• The last 2 pages are for an extension or extra practice. These worksheets are numbers that are larger than 100. Students will still need to round to the nearest 10, but need to be careful to round the right place value.

This Jeopardy game is a review of Math content in 2nd grade. The categories include Base 10, Place Value, Addition, Subtraction, Geometry/Measurement & Data, and Word Problems. It is completely interactive. No need to scroll through all the slides, you just click on the points for whatever category that you like and it will take you right to the question.

This would be a great product for a review at the end of the year for 2nd grade, practice during summer school, and even a pre-assessment for 3rd grade to see what your students know coming into the school year.

Children read and build large numbers and develop an understanding of the written numerical symbols for each category of the decimal system (i.e. units, tens, hundreds, thousands). This resource is a unique take on the traditional number cards. Lower Elementary children will have fun using this flip book to make numbers from 0 to 9999. Creative teachers will find all kinds of uses for this flip book. It's large enough to use for whole group lessons. Children can partner up and make numbers for each other to read or make with the Golden Beads. Endless possibilities.

To create the flip book it is recommended that you have access to a laminator and a coil-binding machine. Printing on card stock is advised for durability. This online escape room game is an excellent refresher for everything you've taught them about decimals, including their values and how they relate to fractions and percentages. In this game, learners must try to escape eight rooms. In each room, learners are presented with three questions, to which each answer has a corresponding letter code. Learners must enter the correct 3-letter code, in order, to escape the current room and go to the next room. When the code is entered incorrectly, learners are prompted to try again and will receive another set of randomly-selected questions.

The teen numbers can be tricky, but the Montessori Math approach can help! If you love the Montessori Teen Boards you’ll also love these math booklets as a fun extension activity. Students will get a lot of practice making and comparing teen numbers with these 8 easy to prep booklets. Classroom teachers can make a whole class set in no time, and homeschoolers, there’s a special version for you so you only have to make one copy of each booklet.
