This creative and printable board game has been developed to provide a foundation to explore anger management.

“”Keep My Cool” is a growth mindset board game which is great for students who may need some additional support with dealing with their anger.

Using the analogy of an “ice-cream” students are asked to reflect on their behaviour how they can keep their cool. This game encourages reflection and psycho-education around anger management, impulse control, self-control, emotional regulation.

There are over 115 reflective question cards with 23 cards in each of the five various color-coded areas. These include:

Self-Discovery – reflecting, learning and exploring their own anger

Triggers – reflecting on what makes them loose their cool.

Cool Down– exploring cool down, coping strategies and strategies

Feelings – exploring feelings, emotions and early warning signs

Regulation– exploring emotional regulation and what that looks and feels like

This creative Line Movement Painting Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to draw 5-10 lines with different movements. After drawing these lines, students outlined them with a crayon. Students painted each section with a different color of watercolor paints. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for students to get better with their painting skills. Students are responsible for two separate artworks for this assignment. This creative Geometric Shapes Collage: Art Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on the big screen. For this assignment, I asked students to make a Geometric Shapes Collage showing squares, rectangles, triangles, and/or circles. Students get to choose three of their favorite colors to work with. Students choose which colors go on top the base color papers. Students learned folding, cutting, gluing, and placing (overlapping) skills during this 1-to-2-Day Art Unit. This creative Dragons & Castles Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to brainstorm a dragons & castle drawing inside their sketchbook. Foreground, middle ground, and background were emphasized throughout the 4–5-day unit. I asked students to lightly redraw the composition onto watercolor paper. I asked students to paint the larger areas first and paint the dragon and details last. I hope you and your kiddos love this! This creative Salvador Dali Melting Clock Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to practice drawing melting clocks. Next, I taught students how to draw a Dali-melting clock. I demonstrated how to draw a melting clock with numbers, step-by-step. Students created their own melting clock drawing on Final Copy Paper. Students outlined and colored their artwork. Younger grades used crayons. Older grades used oil pastels. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

This creative Stained-Glass Tree Painting Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to practice drawing different trees. Next, I taught students how to draw a tree that has branches extending to the edge of the paper. I demonstrated how to outline and fill in the tree. Students created their own stained-glass tree artwork on Final Copy Paper. Students outlined and colored their artwork. Students used mostly watercolor paints for their artwork. This creative Picasso Self Portraits Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to sketch themselves in a Picasso-inspired style-abstract. Students exaggerated their facial features and placed them in different areas on their face. Students were asked to outline their artwork with a black sharpie marker. Students used watercolor paint to add vibrant, bold colors to their beautiful artwork. Contrast was a focus. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

This creative Pizza Collage: Art Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on the big screen. For this assignment, I asked students to make a Pizza Collage of their favorite type of pizza. Lots of students love just a Cheese Pizza, but when they see all the types of delicious paper toppings they can add to their special pizza, they can’t wait. Students learned tracing, cutting, gluing, and placing (overlapping) skills during this 2-Day Art Unit. Students shared who they were making the special pizza for and their favorite pizza toppings. This creative Watercolor Boat Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to brainstorm a boat/vessel that they wanted to have in the water, and water kind of body of water they wanted in their artwork. We discussed Winslow Homer, and his style of art. Students sketched their drawing and painted the larger areas first. Students painted the boat, smaller details and reflections last.
