Connect 4 games are a fun, quick, and easy way to have your beginner students review and practice telling time in French. This bundle is 20% off and includes games using 12 and 24 hour clocks. These activities require no prep and no grading. Just print and go.
In order to win, students connect four boxes by filling them in saying the time correctly in French using the hours listed on the left and the minutes listed at the bottom of the game board.
Students take turns filling in boxes until four are connected. At this point, they can check their work using the answer keys provided. If any of the times are stated incorrectly in French, the game continues.

By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
L'heure - Telling Time in French - 12 & 24 Hour - J'ai . . . Qui a Games - BUNDLE
J'ai . . . Qui a games are a fun, quick, and easy way to have your beginner students review and practice telling time in French. This bundle is 20% off and includes games using 12 and 24 hour clocks.
Each activity includes 21 cards. Depending on class size you can give each student more than one card or have them play in smaller groups. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again.
The 12 hour clock set includes plenty of opportunities to use the following vocabulary: et demie, et quart, moins le quart, midi, minuit, moins vingt, etc. See the list of times used for the 12 hour and 24 hour clock games below or check out the previews to have a sneak peak at all of the cards.
How it works: Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says Je commence le jeu begins the activity. He says, for example, Je commence le jeu. Qui a 3h30? The person who has the card with J'ai 3h30 on it says, J'ai 3h30. Qui a 7h15? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student's card will say, J'ai _____. Le jeu est terminé!
Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. It's a very engaging and fun activity!
Included:
Times used for the 12 hour clock:
Times used for the 24 hour clock:

J'ai...Qui a... French Antonyms Activity Set 2 - I have...Who has
This game includes 39 cards. Depending on class size you can give each student more than one card or have them play in small groups. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again.
How it works: Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says Je commence le jeu begins the activity. He says, for example, Je commence le jeu. Qui a un antonyme pour gratuit? The person who has the card with J'ai payant on it says, J'ai payant. Qui a un antonyme pour visible? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student's card will say, J'ai _____. Le jeu est terminé!
Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. It's a very engaging and fun activity!

Mots Fréquents 3 - French Dots and Boxes Game and Word Wall - Sight Words
An easy and fun no-prep game that will elicit a lot of exposure and pronunciation for learning French sight words / mots fréquents for beginners. You can use this resource with children or teenagers as long as they are beginners and you want them to learn a lot of words (see list for this set below). This is a one-page dots & boxes game including directions, and a word wall of all ten words is included. There are only ten words per set (there are 25 in the bundle). I recommend cutting out and laminating the words for you wall, and keeping them in an envelope to pull out and quickly hang up when you want to focus on this set year after year. The game can also be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers or played on an iPad with annotation/whiteboard tools.
MOTS FRÉQUENTS - SET 3
mes - tes - mon - on - son - ton - moi - toi - ou - où
Here's an idea: Keep the words on the wall for several days or even a week, and have students play dots and boxes with a new partner every time!
Objective: Complete more boxes than your component. Each player draws lines using a different color. On your turn, make a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to another. Say the words on either side of the line you drew. If you complete a box on your turn, draw an X in the box using your color. Once all of the boxes have been completed, count to see who got the most.

J'ai...Qui a... French Antonyms Opposites Activity Set 3 - I have...Who has

J'ai...Qui a... French Antonyms Activity Set 3 - I have...Who has
This game includes 53 cards.
Qui a un antonyme pour calme? The person who has the card with J'ai bruyant on it says, J'ai bruyant. Qui a un antonyme pour gracieux? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student's card will say, J'ai _____. Le jeu est terminé!
Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. It's a very engaging and fun activity!
