Day Time and Night Time Sky~Students will cut and paste pictures they see during the day and at night on to a Venn Diagram and write their information onto recording sheets. Are you looking for a fun, easy, and engaging activity to teach your students about the constellations? Students are naturally curious about the night sky and will enjoy learning about the various constellations using this engaging activity. Have your students complete these easy cut-and-paste activities after learning about some of the popular constellations. This product has students match 13 different constellation pictures to their names. I included an answer key or you could use this as a mini-poster to discuss the constellations. You will also receive an answer key along with some fun facts about constellations.

This set was created with my kindergarten students in mind, but would definitely work for Pre-K or grade one.

Here is what is included in the set.

• a Venn diagram,
• science experiment using cars and ramps to show how friction can change how objects move,
• a sorting T graph for students to write their responses about what they know about pushes, pulls, and forces.

Are you looking for a fun science experiment to do this summer? Students will discover what melts in the sun in this simple experiment in which items are placed on a muffin tin or cookie sheet and placed in the sun. Students will record their predictions and results on recording sheets and discuss their findings. Students will design and build a model of a structure that will reduce the warming effect of sunlight on an area. A recording sheet for students to draw their structure and tell about it is included.

A "Facts About the Sun" handout is included which is loaded with information about the sun. You will receive an easy art activity to show the rotation of the earth around the sun. You will also receive a KWL chart with lines and no lines to fill out and another worksheet for students to fill out as they learn fun facts about the sun.

2022***You can now use this product digitally in Google Classroom or print out worksheets to use in your class.***

This meets Next Generation Science standards K-PS1-1 and KPS3-1 and K-PS3-2

There are recording sheets for either 9 or 12 items depending on the availability of items you can find in your classroom or to differentiate this activity to best meet the needs of your students.

Recording sheets for your students to use while they are using microscopes to make observations. One set of sheets has spaces for your students to draw a picture that they see with the microscope. This is available with and without directions (Preview pages 1 and 2) The other set of sheets has space for your students to draw what the specimen looks like with just their eyes and using the microscope to compare the differences.
