Dough number build and write printing practice- Fine Motor OT
In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In these resources, they will learn letter formation by first building the letter or numbers with doh or putty, tracing the letter, and then writing the letter.
Building letters and numbers with putty and dough is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter and number formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. Students don’t have to use a pencil for writing, try broken crayons (broken crayons help promote tripod grasp pattern), q-tip painting, or fingerpaint. When writing letters and numbers for this activity, students use handwriting letter boxes with starting point to help with letter and number size, placement, and spacing. Perfect for pre-K and kindergarten centers, as well as OT groups, homeschool, and handwriting practice

Students will be able to showcase their number writing skills of the numbers 0-30 with this fun and engaging bulletin board display activity. This can also be used as an assessment of handwriting the numbers 0-30.
This is a math writing numbers activity and is super cute and fun. It is aligned to the Kindergarten Common Core standard K.CC.A.3. This activity can be used as a bulletin board as seen here in the pictures, just for fun, or for display in the classroom. The students loved doing this in my classroom! Everything is included here for making the gumball machines. The girl and boy bubble gum clip art used for feedback in the picture are NOT included but can be purchased from this link:
