This set has 24 colorful KIDS AT RECESS THEMED measurement cards (on 14 pages). Each card is labeled "A, B, C, etc.." and a recording page is given to match. The 24 cards are provided in 2 sets of 12 with each set having a different color border for recording sake. Students circle which set they are using on the recording sheet. The recording page allows for the student to fill in the unit of measure they are working with, unifix cubes, cm. cubes, beans, paperclips, inches, centimeters, etc... so it is very open ended to suit the needs of your curriculum and students abilities. You can print the recording sheet double sided (early finishers) and ask them to measure using 2 different units of measure.

Get your students up and moving as they measure objects using non-standard and standard measurements. Students will measure the length, height, weight, and capacity of common things found in the classroom.
You will receive a set of 20 worksheets and vocabulary cards for this unit.
-insects sort-small, medium, and large
-draw objects taller, shorter, heavier, or lighter than me
-measure using unifix cubes and paper clips

Measurement - Included in this measurement activity download is 18 measurement cards. Cut out and set up in your classroom that students can go from one card to another and record their measurement. Students work individually or in groups to measure 1 card and when the teacher calls “scoot” students move to the next card. This continues until all 18 cards have been recorded. I’ve included answer keys to support different way to measure (non-standard and standard). **This product has been updated so that the measurements line up to the nearest inch.
