Counting Snap Cube Lowercase Letter Build and Write Printing Practice OT

Building Letters Counting Snap Cubes Activity for Lowercase Letters
In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the letter with counting snap cubes, coloring the letter, tracing the letter, and finally, writing the letter.
Building letters with blocks is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. Students don’t have to use a pencil for writing, try broken crayons (broken crayons help promote tripod grasp pattern), q-tip painting, or fingerpaint. When writing letters for this activity, students use handwriting letter boxes to help with letter size, placement, and spacing. Perfect for pre-K and kindergarten centers, as well as OT groups, homeschool, and handwriting practice

Spring Snap Cube Build and Write Activity
In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! Students can build a rainbow, bee, butterfly, chick, flower, and/or ladybug using counting snap cubes given the provided visual model.
Building with blocks is a fun and engaging way to work on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing including fine and visual motor skills, hand strength, visual perception, in hand manipulation skills, and sequencing. Students can roll dice to find out which spring picture they will be building, and after building their picture, they can write about it. Options include word copy, sentence copy, and composing sentences on their own. Perfect for pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade centers, as well as OT groups, homeschool, and handwriting practice.

•Roll a Spring snap cube design- students roll the dice to find out which spring design they will be building.
•6 counting snap cube design pages- rainbow, bee, butterfly, chick, flower, ladybug
•Word copy practice- 6 pages
•Sentence copy- 24 pages- copy a nearpoint sentence about the design. Includes 2 different lines sizes and paper with and without highlights.. Students can draw their design in the designated drawing space.
