Ten Valentine's Day themed I-Spy sheets for pre-k to first grade to help with shape and sight word recognition. Handouts have black and white images that can also be colored for celebrating the holiday. Includes: Sight Words: Cake Cupid Love Pig Valentines Shapes: Bell Calendar Candle Candy Clock Hearts Key Ribbon Ring Roses Star and more... Fun warm-ups or assessments for recognizing shapes and sight words.

This Scavenger hunt activity is packed with 5 fun questions about books. Students will love searching for dragons on covers and mystery books as they explore the fair. This is a fantastic way to engage young readers and foster a love for literature.

This form is fully editable.

Syllable Division / Syllabication - Orton Gillingham Aligned!

There is a page for each concept that includes syllable division.

Pages each include six words to divide syllables, the known patterns and syllable types at the top, and step by step instructions. There is also a space for writing a sentence at the bottom of the page.

This is a physical escape room to be completed after reading the Lorax. Students will answer comprehension questions for their clues along with spelling some sight words and vocabulary words. It all ends with them unscrambling letters to make the door code.

This will take some prep. You will need to print off all the clues (which I included some options already) like the gloves and the watering can. You then hang those up around the room for the students to find. Have a stack of clues by that item so students can get their next clue.

I would recommend having the students complete this in groups no bigger than 3 or 4. Each group will need a clue sheet so they can keep track of their clues and also provide you with answers. This also has the area where they will provide the door code. You will also need to provide the timer for the students. I recommend putting it on a projector board so all the students can see the time.

You start off by showing the students the intro message from the Lorax, then you provide the groups with the clue sheets, and Clue # 1.
