This PowerPoint is a great way for English & non English speakers to practice speaking and reading about their emotions in Spanish. It consists of the vocabulary sad, angry, happy, and scared. You can also practice using: He is/She is, I am, I feel, I feel ___ because...., There are cute illustrations used from www.mycutegraphics.com by Laura Strickland (website gives permission to use) Teacher can use this powerpoint several different ways: 1. Read questions and sentences together. 2. Break into groups of two or more. Students will examine pictures and come up with a sentence to describe the picture. It can either be the same sentence that will pop on a click of the mouse or something similar. Use a point system to see can say the most correctly. 3. Print these cards out like flashcards and glue on construction paper. Then give each student a card. Teacher can say the sentence while others repeat. 4. Use other ESL strategies

This is a one-page full-color game board with spaces marked in Spanish. It can be used with trivia cards, task cards, or flashcards for a quick and painless set up. My students love playing this quick game during learning centers. This game includes a version with directions printed on the board and a version without directions. Spanish months and days cut and paste activity - Los días y los meses

These cut and paste worksheets will help your primary students and beginner Spanish students learn the days of the week and the months.

This activity is included in my Spanish months and days bundle.

One worksheet is included for the days of the week and the 12 months are on two sheets. Have your students cut off the bottom part of the worksheet where indicated with scissors. Then have them cut out the days and months. Now they're ready to paste the days and months in the right spot on the paper. They should put the days and months in chronological order. Next to each numbered space there are lines where students write out the days and months to help with spelling. When they've finished they'll enjoy coloring the numbers and the little black and white image at the top of the page. See the preview for a closer look!

Fichas de trabajo Palabras de uso frecuente de ¡Arriba la lectura! de HMH de 1er grado Modulo 5 (semana 3)

Fichas de trabajo, listas para ser usadas, de las palabras de uso frecuente de la semana de Arriba la lectura de HMH de primer grado. Puede ser usado como tarea o incluso como centro.

Al adquirir este recurso, obtendrán el archivo PDF de 7 páginas para trabajar las 5 palabras de la semana. Cada palabra tiene su propia página, y tienes dos opciones de distintas para el reverso de la página. Una de las opciones es la de seguir formulando oraciones con la palabra del día, mientras que la segunda opción es la de practicar cómo se escribe la palabra del día o incluso las palabras de la semana.

En esta actividad se trabajan 5 de las palabras de uso frecuente de la semana del programa de HMH de primer grado. Cada módulo tiene 3 semanas y cada semana tiene 5 palabras, para un total de 15 palabras de uso frecuente por módulo. El programa consta de 12 módulos distribuidos en 36 semanas.

Cada palabra se trabajará de 7 formas diferentes:

1. Lectura de la palabra, sus sonidos y sílabas.
2. Trazo de las letras que componen la palabra.
3. Búsqueda de la palabra entre otras palabras de la semana.
4. Rellena los bloques con cada una de las letras de la palabra.
5. Ordenar las fichas con letras para formar la palabra.
6. Contar el número de sílabas de la palabra.
7. Redacción de varias frases cortas que contengan la palabra.
