WORKSHEETS
No-Prep, just print and go. You can use just the cut and paste pages or also pass out the additional sentence writing page that matches. The second page can also be used for early finishers. The ABC cut and paste worksheet has the alphabet listed as a reference. The sentences page has an editing checklist on it.
LITERACY CENTER
Cut apart the 26 picture/word cards and place in center. Print one or both recording sheets and place in center. Students choose 6 picture/word cards, copy those 6 words onto their cut and paste sheet, then complete their worksheet. If you place the second worksheet at the station, then students will choose 4 of their words to practice writing sentences with.

There are a total of 40 Clip Cards which many include a visual to support students to determine the appropriate pronoun. These clip cards are great to identify and explore which pronoun applies. With these clip cards, students are encouraged to choose the following pronoun.
HE – SHE – IT - THEY
Pronouns are words that take the place of a Noun. For example “he, she, it, they”.
Students simply use a peg or clip to identify each individual answer on the clip cards. In addition, there is a Pronoun poster which explains pronouns further.

Pumpkin Pairs Compound Words Game

Players: 2-4
Materials:
+ Cut out and laminated pumpkins
+ Black and White Pumpkins
+ Color Pumpkins
+ Blank Pumpkins to create your own compound words
Directions:
Place pumpkins face down. Students will pick two
pumpkins and decide whether or not they make a
compound word together. If the words make a
compound word the student gets to keep those those pumpkins. If the words do not make a compound word the student flips them back over. Then the next player takes a turn. The student with the most pumpkin pairs wins.
