ELA Book for Student Writing/Grammar/Editing - Workbook
By Blooming Through High School
Perfect for learners who have IEP's requiring class notes, correctly completed examples, and graphic organizers.
I was tired of writing things on the board over and over again. I was tired of printing out pages that students threw away. I was also tired of answering questions that students could find for themselves. So I made a book to make sure I wouldn't have to anymore.
Over the course of 2 months, I thought of everything that I would have to teach, explain, write examples of, and print, and I put all my tips and tricks into ONE BOOK. I printed this out and spiral bound all the pages for each of my students. Every time my students ask me to repeat something, I point them to the book.
I also use this in my class for reference during specific lessons as well. It's a game changer! I save time and I save my sanity.
It's the MOST helpful for all the little pieces students need to know for all the stages of writing: brainstorming, pre-writing, paragraphs, citations, plagiarism, and much, much more.

Their Eyes Were Watching God DISCUSSION QUESTIONS | 90 Pages of Questions + Answer Key!
By Rigorous Resources for High School English
This 90-page EDITABLE document features discussion questions for every chapter of Zora Neale Hurston's literary masterpiece, Their Eyes Were Watching God. This discussion-based curriculum promises to elicit dynamic engagement from all students without compromising on intellectual rigor. The discussion questions will challenge your students to dig beneath the surface of the text and generate profound interpretive insights!
Here's what you'll get in this 90-page resource:
• Discussion Questions: Inside are 9 double-sided handouts, each with 8-12 discussion questions per 20-page section of Zora Neale Hurston's novel. Every discussion question is grounded in concrete textual details and challenges students to arrive at lucid interpretive insights!! (20 pages)

The answer key has been informed by articles and books by Hurston scholars such as Henry Louis Gates Jr., Mary Helen Washington, Hazel Carby, Carla Kaplan, and others. • Quick Writes: A "quick write" can be used at any time in a class to get students to pause and reflect on the text in writing. Introduce a quick write before you begin a discussion to allow students to collect their thoughts. Or roll one out toward the end of a discussion to let students capture and refine their best ideas. (9 pages)

The questions lend themselves to a range of different pedagogical uses: 1) to focus students’ thinking prior to beginning a discussion, 2) to prompt in-class writing, 3) to assign written reflections for homework, etc.

Guided Reading Lesson Plan & Activities Grades KG-12 (13-Book Bundle)
By Bright Classroom Ideas Marketplace
Guided Reading is a research-based instruction process whereby the teacher works with small grouping of students being equal in a particular reading achievement level. The teacher provides for each reader's development of effective reading competencies. However different than in the earlier days of reading groups, small and temporary groups are flexible and dynamic. The observance and evaluation of the progress of readers are done by teachers on a systematic basis. Thus, grouping and regrouping students is based on the strengths of students and the intense changing needs throughout their reading development.
In the 1960s in New Zealand, Guided Reading was developed. It was enhanced over the years after it arrived in the United States thanks to educators like Gay Su Pinnell and Lesley Fountas. In 1996, Fountas & Pinnell published their enormously influential book, Guided Reading: Good First Teaching for All Children (Heinemann). This book changed how reading was taught, and it is still taught today to over a million teachers worldwide. The aim of Guided Reading lessons is to develop effective readers.
A set of 13 books is bundled together with all 13 worksheets of the Guided Reading series for grades KG-12. There are lesson plans and different activities for every grade, with the answers in the end section of the worksheet.
