Geography Pre-assessment/Post-assessment Beginning of Year (Easel Act. Included)
By Geography & Math Made Easy
This 80+ question assessment is a great way to evaluate what your students know going into the school year, what they have learned during the first semester as well as what knowledge and skills they have gained by the end of the school year.
Why waste precious time creating a thorough and effective test when it has already been done for you? Use this clean and well-put-together assessment over and over again throughout the school year to assess your students.
Comes with questions, a student answer sheet, and a teacher's key. Covers a wide variety of concepts such as map and graph reading, culture, government, economics, basic map reading skills, and religion. Took 8 hours to compile the test.
To save paper, make a class copy of the test and print out an answer sheet, one for each student. Have students write their name on the back of the last page of the test booklet just in case it is written in.
Please note: if you find this test is long for your group of students, please know that by modifying it (copying and pasting it to a new Word document the questions you wish for your students to answer), I do not consider this breach of copyright for any of my lessons. I expect that all teachers will modify, to a point, my resources to meet their students' needs and abilities. This assessment is "thorough" in order to give you an accurate understanding of what your students already know. It was created for the purpose of using itat the beginning of the year, mid-year, and end-of-year to measure what your students have learned.
