Solving for Kinetic and Potential Energy - Self Checking
By Brittany Henderson
Printable PDF and a digital version are included in this distance learning ready activity. Two versions are included where students solve 15, KE = 0.5 x mv2 and GPE = mgh problems. One version gives students access to full solutions to self check their work via Tinyurl. The other is a traditional worksheet with no solutions.

Two Forms of Use Included
Conservation of Energy "Mini" Lab
By Brittany Henderson
One "mini" lab that will help students observe and make connections that energy cannot be created or destroyed.
These short activities reinforce or introduce concepts to students. I call these activities “mini labs” because they are simple activities that do not take the whole class period. They are also activities that are safe for use in the classroom and do not have to be done in a lab or with any specialty equipment or materials.
Materials Needed
For Middle School this supports or extends NGSS: MS PS3-5
For High School this supports MS PS2-2
Distance learning or need a digital copy to assign?
Three Forms of Use Included
Speed, Distance and Time "Do and Check" - S=D/T Self Checking
By Brittany Henderson
Printable PDF and a digital version are included in this distance learning ready activity. Two versions are included where students solve 15 S= D/T problems. One gives students access to full solutions to self check their work via Tinyurl. The other is a traditional worksheet with no solutions.
Important Information
This version requires students to make no conversions for their final units of measurement. Both versions contain the same problem sets, the difference is the ability to self check.
