This is a set of 20 Halloween area and perimeter word problems. This Halloween activity has students solve for the perimeter and area of various shapes. Great for sub plans. There is a guided version for students needing a refresher on the formulas to solve.

Use this Treasure / Scavenger Hunt after teaching finding missing angles using trigonometry.

I have included all three trigonometric ratios (sine, cosine and tangent). There are a mixture of difficulty. Some questions are worded so students may need to draw a diagram first to help them

Instructions

• Print off the twenty question pages and put them up around the room
• Each question is in the middle of the page and the solution is at the top of another page.
• Answers are correct to one decimal place where appropriate
• A student begins on a given question, solves it and finds the answer on another sheet. The question on this sheet will be the next question they answer. Once they have answered all twenty, they will return to their starting question
• Depending on numbers, students can all start on different questions
• There is a student answer sheet included plus the correct sequence

This Area and Circumference of a Circle | Pi and the Lost Digits Escape Room is a fun way to engage your middle schoolers in learning how to calculate area and circumference of Circles! With this no-prep, digital math-based escape room activity, your students will have a great time finding circumference, area, and radius given one circle measurement in order to find the solution to a mystery.

There are 20 problems:

• Calculate the circumference given the radius
• Calculate the area given the radius
• Calculate the radius given the circumference
• Calculate the radius given the area

Based on the premise that Pi has lost its digits, your students will explore five different locations full of activities, jokes and fun facts. 

Since this escape room is online (interactive pages) there is very little prep: provide the link, and off they go! There are no locks to configure or clues to hide—everything you need is online. No Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams logins are necessary.

This is a modified polynomials activity for algebra. There are 16 questions that have students find the leading coefficients, constants, degrees, terms, and then classify the polynomials by degree and terms.
