This is a set of 25 cards to really get some good practice in while teaching third conditional si clauses using the plus-que-parfait and past conditional tenses. Each card has one student ask a question using a si clause, and the second student is prompted to give an open ended response. Watch the video preview if you want me to show you how I like to use these cards.

These Spanish Scenario Task Cards are geared towards Clothing and Shopping Scenario Task Cards are a great, NO PREP way to get your Spanish 2, 3 and 4 students speaking or writing and using language creatively! They have open-ended prompts for students to use while speaking or writing.  (These are generic enough to be used with any curriculum!)  

There are 20 different scenarios which give students an idea of what to talk about in a story that they make up. The task cards come in 3 versions!  First I have a large scale digital version that can be displayed for the class.  The other version is printable (4 cards per page) and comes in both black and white and an attractive color version. Slides come with helpful vocab that students may need to discuss the scenario.

These Clothing and Shopping scenario task cards feature situations perfect for practicing talking about what students and others wear or need to buy.   The prompts ask students to talk about themselves and others in multiple time frames.  The prompts are in English. Google Slides can be modified if you need to change something to meet your students’ needs!

Engage and challenge your students when reviewing and mastering the French relative pronoun DONT with this set of 25 challenge review cards. Take a look at the preview to see how you can use these grammar challenge cards in your French classroom.

Challenge cards are a nice alternative to classic worksheets. Each card contains two clauses to connect using the relative pronoun dont. 

Dont has always been particularly difficult for my students, and that's why I like to teach it separately. It's much less daunting when they know that dont is the relative pronoun that they need to use. These practice cards provide lots of different situation in which dont is needed, and they start to get used to it.

This set of cards is included in my comprehensive unit lesson plan on the French relative pronoun dont. After teaching dont on its own, I then like to follow up with a full lesson on qui, que, où, and dont. When I teach dont first, many of my students tell me they think it's easier than the other relative pronouns!

French Futur Antérieur Practice Cards

Each card has a sentence written in the futur simple and your students must transform the sentence to the futur antérieur. This is a good cooperative speaking activity or if you choose you can use the cards as a written assignment. A student response sheet is included if you decide to use the cards this way.

There's a mixture of common regular and irregular verbs to work with. There are verbs using both avoir and être as helping verbs as well as a few reflexives (even two that don't require making agreement on the past participle as a challenge).

Students can work with a partner to practice speaking or they can work individually to practice writing. Practice cards are a nice alternative to worksheets which can sometimes seem tedious or boring.

Use the PDF with 1 card per page as a digital resource that you can share with your students, or use the version with 4 cards per page to print, cut out and laminate for years of no prep activities. In the upper left corner you'll see a space where you can neatly punch a hole in each card and then connect them with a ring.

French Si Clauses - 2nd Conditional - 40 practice cards

This is a set of 40 cards that provides some good practice for your students while learning second conditional si clauses using the imperfect and conditional tenses. Each card has a si clause written with underlined verbs in the infinitive form. Students are to correctly state the sentence in the 2nd conditional, choosing when they should use the imperfect as opposed to the conditional. These Spanish Task Cards are geared towards spring activities, vacations and events. Situation Task Cards are a great way to get your Spanish 1, 2, 3 and 4 students talking and using language creatively!  (These are generic enough to be used with any curriculum!)  

There are 20 different scenarios which give students an idea of what to talk about in a story that they make up. The task cards come in 3 versions!  First I have a large scale digital version that can be displayed for the class.  The other version is printable (4 cards per page) and comes in both black and white and an attractive color version. Slides come with helpful vocab that students may need to discuss the scenario.

These spring-themed task cards feature scenarios for present, past and future time frames.  Google Slides can be modified if you need to change something to meet your students’ needs!

Also included is a peer feedback sheet and a self-assessment sheet and a vocab list for spring vocabulary!

How can I use this product?

• Pair students and have them take turns telling stories based on their scenario
• Ask students to give peer feedback or self-assess
• Display task cards on your Smartboard for the class.  Have one partner make up a story.  Set a timer and challenge them to try to talk the entire time!  Change the slide and have the other partner take a turn!
• Use these task cards as multiple versions of a speaking assessment.  This allows for student choice and/or prevents students sharing the exact task for advance preparation.
• These task cards can also be used for writing prompts or assessments!
• Ask students to peer or self-assess using the included forms
