Make your ESL classroom look different from a regular education room by Considering these multilingual Fruits Vocabulary labels!

Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 37 words for a total of 10 pages. Check out the preview of the first 4. They each feature the English word in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. Are you looking for a quick, fun way to get your students practicing the conjugations of reflexive verbs in ANY tense or mood in Spanish? This fun, no-prep activity is an engaging way to practice verb conjugations and sentence writing! You can specify the tense and mood, so this could be used at any level! All you need is one copy of the game sheet for each group and recording pages for each student.

This activity can be done in pairs or in small groups and it's a great way to fill a few extra minutes when your lesson ends early or on days with irregular schedules (like standardized test days, pep rallies, early releases, etc). This is also a great learning station activity. My students love playing Cuadritos and beg to play whenever we get the chance!

This resource includes 2 versions of the activity, with 16 different reflexive verbs.

• Version 1 (pages 8 and 9) are full-page with all 16 verbs and 16 subject pronouns.
• Version 2 (pages 10-13) are half-page versions of the two games, each with only 8 of the 16 verbs. Two copies of the activity are on each page in version 2.

In addition to the activity, this resource also includes:

• printable student instructions in English (two per page to save paper, in both black and white and color)
• teacher directions for completing the activity with your classes

The first day of a new AP Spanis®h unit is rough! It requires essential questions, vocabulary, and a way to get students interested in the new theme.  This resource contains everything you need to start Unit 2, La influencia de la lengua en la cultura y la identidad.  There are 5 different resources included!  Now you can finish correcting the assessments from Unit 1 because you’re all set to start this unit!

The “Hook Activity” is meant to spark interest by provoking students to make connections to their own lives or to ask questions.  This hook activity is in the form of personalized questions, and asks students to give their opinions on topics that will interest them.  Students are asked to turn and talk about their answers with a partner after they write.   As an added benefit, students can activate prior knowledge as they start to see the relevance of this topic to their own lives!

Students play in pairs. They play quick games of "pierre, feuille, ciseaux" to see who will be able to move forward a certain number of spaces on the game board.

The following sentences are written in French on the game board, and it’s fun way to get them speaking more French during the game if they say them when they win:

⭐ La pierre écrase les ciseaux.

⭐ La feuille enveloppe la pierre.

⭐ Les ciseaux découpent la feuille.

When a student lands on a space, he conjugates and translates the verb written on it using the subject pronoun provided. Winning is easy, as long as you're the first one to reach la fin!

Do your Spanish students need some help with interpersonal speaking?  Are they struggling to have conversations in Spanish?  Let’s give them some guided support with these partner conversations about accidents and injuries!  Both students will have the opportunity to ask and answer questions as part of a conversation, but with a lot of scaffolding to build confidence.

There are 4 guided conversations, so both students will have a chance to ask and answer questions in a conversational way.  

These conversations focus on accidents and injuries in the past time frame (preterite and imperfect).

• Students will work in partners to participate in a guided conversation
• Students will trade roles so both can practice asking questions and answering questions
• Teachers can assign these conversations as practice or as an assessment
