Just in time for the fall season, this French autumn activities bundle will let you celebrate the cooler weather and spooky times. Includes a variety of printable and digital/distance items. Whether you teach level 1 or advanced French, there will be something for your students in this bundle.

Through these activities, not only will they have fun working together or individually to solve the puzzles, but they will also have the opportunity to practice reading latitude and longitude coordinate grid systems (absolute location). Each moment is a teaching moment, and this holiday resource will allow reinforcement of their map reading skills. Students will use the absolute locations that are provided on the key and identify the points on the coordinate grid, drawing one line from one point to another. Looking for an engaging way to get your French students to build their communication skills and vocabulary? Taboo is a fun French speaking and listening game where one student has to guess a word based on clues given in French by other students. The catch is that they cannot mention anything that is included in a list of taboo words.

All of the words on each card are written in French and English. This is very useful as many of the words will be new to students whether they are beginners or very advanced. You can easily modify this game to play it with all levels!

Object of the game:

One player tries to get his teammate to guess the word at the top of a card. The player must give clues, but he can't use any of the Taboo words in his description. The taboo words are written beneath the underlined word at the top of the card.

Teams score points for each word successfully guessed. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Beginner students should be allowed to use the French TABOO words printed on the cards. This will encourage them to use new vocabulary and will help them in forming sentences to use as clues.
