This Functional Literacy Skills - Days of the Week Task Box and Visual Schedule Bundle is the perfect way to help students learn the days of the week as they begin the new school year! This set allows students to learn the days of the week, as well as their order. Students can then generalize this learning by creating and following a weekly schedule.  Task Box activities and Visual Schedule can be laminated and placed in task boxes or file folders, allowing them to be prepped once and reused with all of your students! 

Visual schedules are a tool used for students with exceptionalities, but particularly for those with autism, to help transition between activities and places, follow a routine, know what to expect in their day, and develop new skills.  The schedule allows a sequence of pictures and words to be arranged in order so that students can set and follow a daily schedule, as well as mark off completed tasks.  The schedule can also be used to break large tasks or events down into smaller steps.  Having a visual schedule can be a help to reduce challenging behaviour.

There are seven different task box levels included to support students as they learn to identify, match, and order the days of the week. Each matching level includes an errorless version so students of all abilities in your classroom can benefit!  The Weekly visual schedule includes images that are appropriate for all age groups.

The Days of the Week File Folder/Task Box Set includes:

This resource offers a structured curriculum for students to learn about income and expenses. Through transaction tracking, students develop practical skills by identifying and categorizing transactions as income or expenses, allowing them to maintain accurate account balances. The worksheets include monthly budget challenges, enabling students to apply their knowledge to real-life scenarios, such as analyzing expenses or determining the number of income sources. Additionally, this resource integrates goal-based savings examples, teaching students how to calculate the required amount of money for desired expenses and plan monthly savings to achieve their goals within a specified timeframe.

• 1 poster teaching income and expenses.
• 6 worksheets where students check off if the item/ picture is an income or an expense.
• 3 cut and paste worksheets where students sort income and expenses.
• 1 worksheet where students list forms of income and expenses.
• 4 worksheets where students identify the scenario as an income or expense.
• 3 worksheets where students are given transactions and are asked to identify the transaction as an income or an expense and track the account balance by either adding or subtracting the transactions.

What has worked best for my students was to print on heavy-duty card stock and laminate.
