Create and display the TRUE meaning of Christmas**! Daily Devotions, Prayers, Scripture Readings, Ornaments & Advent Tree** are ALL included in this Jesse Tree resource to give you all you need to engage learners every day of this advent season!
This advent activity is called “The Jesse Tree” because of the Bible verse in Isaiah that describes a shoot, which is like a bud or new leaf, coming up from a tree stump of Jesse. Jesse’s family will grow and grow through the years; eventually, Jesus will be born! So this is sort of like Jesus’ family tree!
You will get:
Daily Devotions: 1 introduction and 25 daily devotions that will guide you and your children/students in a daily Scripture reading, devotion, and prayer. Read aloud to a younger class or have older learners read themselves.
Ornaments: 25 Ready to print and cut-out ornaments, provided in color and black and white.
Printable Jesse Tree - 3 printable Jesse Tree options given. Two color options- one with placement guides and one blank, one black and white.

There are literally hundreds of prophecies Jesus fulfilled. The Jesse tree does not limit them or tell everything there is to know about our wonderful Savior. With this in mind, you will find The Jesse Tree has been designed in many different ways and created with varying Bible stories and images and this is ok. I hope you enjoy the one I put together through much prayer and Bible study. I was truly inspiring to see Jesus in all the stories!

For this assignment, I asked students to use their pointer finger (no paint brush) to create the flower pedals. Students filled the paper with fingerprint flowers for one class period. During the second-class period, students used crayons and color markers to draw stems, leaves, grass, insects, and other things in their scene. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

The product - hygiene adapted notes and review includes grooming, skin care, washing your hands and the importance of doing this, eating a balanced diet, protecting skin from the sun - sunburn, your skin and puberty - brief and general overview of what happens during puberty that includes acne, picking acne and what could happen, washing and caring for your hair, using shampoo and conditioner (if needed), how to avoid dandruff and head lice - what not to share with anyone, caring for nails - using nail file and nail clippers, caring for clothing - washing clothing - how to separate, what should be separated, where dirty clothes should go, caring for your teeth - what the teeth are made of, why it is important to care for your teeth, what can develop on your teeth - plaque, what foods should not be consumed to avoid plaque build up, how often one should floss, brush teeth, and visit the dentist, difference between dentist and orthodontist, caring for your eyes, visiting an ophthalmologist, what people use to improve vision if necessary, where light enters eye, diagram showing the parts of the eye, caring for your ears, review the parts of the ear and what each part does, review a diagram that shows the different parts of the ear, where the outer, middle, and inner ear are located, how and why you should protect your ears, visiting an audiologist, measuring the loudness of sound, how some people hear who have a hearing loss, using cochlear implants, hearing aids, and some people who are Deaf don't use amplification, but will use sign language.

They can complete these questions individually, in a small group, or with support. There are several pages of comprehension questions in this packet that differ from the questions asked in the teacher edition. The questions from the text are adapted in this packet to meet each of your student's needs. In the beginning of the packet, the question, "what is a historical fiction text?" is answered. The selection vocabulary words are also included with this packet. The meaning of the vocabulary word and a picture that shows what each word is is also included. Students will be required to come up with a sentence using each selection word.

Coyote School News - Comprehension Questions

In this product, Coyote School News is read and reviewed. In this product, students will read the text, Coyote School News. Students will review/learn what a historical fiction text is and will have the opportunity to identify historical fiction texts and come up with possible historical fiction story ideas. As students read the text, Coyote School News, they will answer comprehension questions using this product. They can complete these questions individually, in a small group, or with support. There are several pages of comprehension questions in this packet that differ from the questions asked in the teacher edition. The questions from the text are adapted in this packet to meet each of your student's needs. At the end of the packet, students will answer comprehension questions about the author, Joan Sandin.
