This is a fun resource to be used on the first day of school and the last day of school. With key information, kids would be able to see how much they have grown and how much things have changed in 10 months!

This Match-Select-Name writing unit contains fluency support activities directly linked to the Match-Select-Name basketball reading unit. The Match-Select-Name method was presented by L. Oelwein. There has been a significant amount of research done on the efficacy of this method. It is shown to be beneficial for students with exceptionalities including Down’s Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder who are struggling to learn to read using phonics.

There are four stages in the method:
