These clip cards are a great way to test students’ knowledge of recognising fractions using a physical multiple choice system. It includes all simpli ed fraction forms from 1/2 to 9/10s, and includes one bonus card of 10/10, and contains fractions in the form of circles, squares, strips and objects. The given possible answers have been carefully chosen to allow teachers to spot any misconceptions students may have about fractions. harvest2020

The idea of this activity is that students work our what fraction of the given image is shaded, then clip a clothespin/peg or a paperclip to what they think is the correct answer.

This activity works equally well when the cards are laminated. Students simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper, hand out to your class at the end of the lesson, so they can put their names on and circle the correct answer, serving as a great exit ticket/plenary to the lesson.

These cards are in colour, but print equally well in grey scale for cost savings.

-Cut out cards and place them around the room or hallway.

-Give each student a recording sheet and assign them a starting problem.

-Each answer leads to the next card, and students will end up in the same place they started upon completion of the loop.

These are colourful, fun and engaging visual supported task cards designed to support students to work on the skill of determining different objects. The cards come in different level of difficulties from easy to hard and include a variety of subtle and distinguished nuances. The visuals include everyday objects, colours, animals, feelings and emotions, food items, weather, daily routine and shapes.

The direction on each of the cards includes a written direction as well as a visual to represent same or different for non-readers. Students can use clothes pegs to identify the right answer or simply point to the right answer. These cards are great for young learners including preschool, kindergarten, students with autism and special education needs. Print and laminate these cards and you will be able to use them for years to come!
