This no prep Black History Month Research Project resource will help your students research and write an essay on a notable individual for Black History Month.

My students LOVE interactive storyboards! This activity would be a perfect way to finish up your study over Martin Luther King, Jr. It includes open-ended questions, vocabulary and a timeline to list five important events in MLK's lifetime. Children are very creative and can use the artwork and their own imaginations to embellish and make it their own. I use file folders as the base but large manila or construction paper can be used as well. I've included pictures to give you an idea of how to arrange it.

A biography writing unit about the life of the famous American civil rights activist, Rosa Parks.
